But Scottsdale's passion for the arts cannot be contained even within these galleries in the city's Downtown Arts Districts. In downtown Scottsdale alone, there are more than 50 nightspots, most of which are within walking distance of each other. Even with so many other diversions to choose from, shopping still ranks at the top of the list for visitors. Scottsdale downtown and its adjoining Main Street Arts & Antiques District wow everyone from bauble browser to serious collector with a vast array of galleries and collectible shops. Extreme shoppers should head directly to the miles of styles available at the region's largest shopping destination, Scottsdale Fashion Square. Heading north, the city also provides for a more intimate, themed shopping experience at The Borgata, an Old World-inspired collection of premium shops, and el Pedregal Festival Marketplace, with its unique finds such as the Heard Museum North gift shop and Native American collectibles. .
