Return to the 1700s in historic SMITHVILLE near Atlantic City. The 18th-century Village of Waterloo, STANHOPE, demonstrates what life was like hundreds of years ago.

Attractions in TRENTON, the state capital, include the New Jersey State House, and the Old Barracks Museum to view life as it was over 200 years ago.

At TITUSVILLE Washington Crossing State Park marks the Delaware River site where, in a blinding snowstorm on the night of Dec. 25, 1776, General George Washington crossed the river with 2,400 colonial troops and captured 1,000 Hessian mercenaries.

The island resort WILDWOOD has a fun attraction in Moreys Pier and some interesting museums such as the Doo Wop Preservation League Museum, and the George Boyer Historical Museum.
